Brenda Office Manager
Hi! My name is Brenda. I have worked for Dr. Elms since he began practicing in Bryan/College Station in June 1991. God led me to the field of Orthodontics in May of 1971 when I joined Dr. King's staff. My life has been enriched daily with my family, office staff and many lifelong friendships. The highlight of each day is the opportunity to meet and greet new people and see many beautiful new smiles being created through our work.
My husband, Benny and I are blessed with three daughters, one son and five amazing and talented grandchildren. Our daughters, Karen and Melissa are Registered Dental Assistants for two local dentists, Amy is an RN, Flight nurse and B.J. our son presently works in cattle management.
My biggest enjoyment is watching our grandchildren, Connor, Taylor, Tanner, Kaylee and Tara participate in sports, dance and 4H. We often have the privilege of babysitting and being taxi driver for many occasions.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling around the U.S.: playing bunko; watching movies; ladies luncheons; craft shows; shopping with my friends and family; watching the Astros and Bombers baseball; visiting my mother, family and friends in Arkansas, reading and doing volunteer work.
Patricia New Patient Treatment Coordinator
Hi, my name is Patricia and I am Dr. Elms' Treatment Coordinator and a registered Dental Assistant. I have been a part of Dr. Elms' team since August of 1998. My job duties include welcoming and educating new patients and their families, as well as helping navigate all aspects of our office.
We as a team like to think of this office like our home, and each time that you come in, we want you to feel like you are welcome guests!
I have three children, Kassandra, Carlos and Elaina.
Sophia Patient Services Coordinator
Hi. My name is Sophia and I have been working for Dr. Elms since June 2000 as a full-time Registered Dental Assistant. I, along with my co-workers/friends, assist Dr. Elms and each other, chairside. Some of my behind-the-scenes duties include: sterilizing instruments, educating patients, restocking cabinets and drawers, and lab work. I am also responsible for ordering supplies needed for our office. I can honestly say that I have the perfect job. I have an awesome boss Dr. Elms, please take a bow! I love working with all the ladies here, and Perry too!
I am blessed to have a big and beautiful family that includes my extended family here at Dr. Elms' office. I have three amazing kids: Jasmine, Christian and Isabella. I stay pretty busy as a mother, between soccer games, movies, reading, work, school, cooking, cleaning and personal chauffeur etc, I enjoy every minute of every day!
I consider each day a gift from God, so I thank Him for giving me a chance to relive it once more.
I have seen so many smiles throughout the years: big, small, quick, shy, happy, silly and teary-eyed ones and they all amount to a unique smile.

Marie Patient Services Coordinator
Hi, my name is Marie and I am a Registered Dental Assistant. I have loved working in dentistry and orthodontics since October of 1977. I have been with Dr. Elms since April 2005. I love who I work for, who I work with, and who I get to work on! My hopes are to be here with Dr. Elms until I am ready to retire!
My husband, David, and I have been married since March of 1978. We have four children: Derick, Christine and our twins Samantha and Philip. My daughter Christine and her husband Derrick are expecting our first grandchild in October 2008.
I love God, my family, my job, my coworkers, cooking, gardening, sewing, scrap booking and reading, in that order.
My job duties include, most importantly, working with patients, assisting Dr. Elms, lab duties, sterilizing instruments, restocking, instructing patients in orthodontic care and overseeing the dental models from start to finish. I am also the co-marketing director and your go-to person for Invisalign.
Stephanie Patient Services Coordinator
Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am a Registered Dental Assistant. I began working with Dr. Elms in 1995 and then moved away in 1997. I worked with an Orthodontist in the Houston area for 10 years. When I moved back to Bryan/ College Station, Dr. Elms and his staff welcomed me back with open arms.
I have been a Patient Services Coordinator since 1995 and I enjoy every minute of it. I also help as a Treatment Coordinator when needed to assure that our patients are well taken care of. As part of our team, I also do lab work and assist with our in-office marketing. What I love most about being in this field of dentistry is witnessing a life-changing experience that our patients go through.
I enjoy watching movies with my daughter, Jalyn, and taking walks with my son, Joshua. I love being home and back at Elms Orthodontics.
Kelli Patient Services Coordinator
Hi. My name is Kelli and I am a Registered Dental Assistant. I am originally from San Antonio and I moved to College Station after graduating from the dental assisting program at San Antonio College. I started working for Dr. Elms in September of 2007.
As one of the newest members of Dr. Elms' team, I have enjoyed getting to know the wonderful staff here at Elms Orthodontics. I feel so blessed that I can come to this office every day and work in this field of dentistry that I love so much. I plan to be a part of Dr. Elms' team for a long time!
Some of my job duties include: assisting Dr. Elms in your every day visit, working in our lab, overseeing the web site, and scheduling appointments. I am also the co-marketing director.
When I am not in the office, I love visiting my family in San Antonio, watching movies, listening to music and being a part of world missions.
We all enjoy being a part of the life-changing benefits of straight teeth, so remember: the world always looks brighter from behind a smile!
Kristen Patient Services Coordinator
My name is Kristen and I began working for Dr. Elms in October 2007. I started in the front office doing clerical/receptionist duties and now have the opportunity to work on the patients alongside the other assistants. This job has been such a blessing. As the school year began, I had been praying about getting a job. I got a call from a friend who worked for Dr. Elms and she asked if I would like to take her place in his office. This job has worked out great for me as I am attending Texas A&M University and am interested in pursuing a career in the dental field. I love the environment at Dr. Elms' office: someone is always smiling and everyone is willing to lend a helping hand!
I have been in College Station for about three years and plan to graduate in 2009. I am originally from North Carolina and moved to Texas with my parents the summer before college started. I miss the mountains of western North Carolina but I love big Texas skies and the people here. God has blessed my family and I much more than we could have ever asked for with our move to Texas. My mom is working as a Registered Nurse and my dad is living his lifelong dream of owning a gun shop and shooting range. I feel blessed to be attending an amazing university and I feel blessed with the opportunity to work at Dr. Elms' office.
Perry Financial Coordinator
Hi, my name is Perry and I am the ancient person in our office. I am originally from Colorado and served for 26 years in the United States Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, I moved to College Station and was the business manager for an orthopedic surgeon's office for 15 years. I have been with Dr. Elms since May 2007. I do our insurance verification, work with the insurance companies to assure our patients' insurance benefits are fulfilled, and coordinate with our patients on their financial accounts.
Carmen Appointment Coordinator
Howdy, I am Carmen. I work along side Brenda, our office manager, to ensure the front office is running efficiently. My goal is to provide professional and courteous service to your family throughout your experience here at Elms Orthodontics. Dr. Elms has fostered a well-trained team that strives to deliver the best quality care and attention to our patients; I am excited to be a part of it!
Originally from Minnesota, I lived in San Antonio for several years. I married an Aggie and have resided in Bryan for 16 years. We have three incredible sons who keep us engaged, being involved with piano, school activities, tennis, baseball and Boy Scouts. My husband and I have the privilege of serving on the local Young Life Adult Committee and have done so for over a decade.
My delight and focus in life is to spend time with my husband and sons. I also have an incredible network of extended family and friends and enjoy fulfilling my commitment to the childrens ministry at our church.
