Brenda – Office Manager

staff photoI enjoy meeting and getting to know our patients. It’s a great feeling to see the amazing, life-changing smiles created through our work, and the way each patient is more confident at the end! I handle our practice’s PR and promotions. I also greet and check in patients, schedule appointments, answer the phones, and accept payments. It is a pleasure to come to work at Elms Orthodontics, where we have a fantastic team that really cares about our patients!

My husband Benny and I are filled with joy and blessings with our three daughters — Karen, Amy, and Melissa — our son B.J., two sons-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and six grandchildren! My family and our friends mean the world to us. In my spare time, I love supporting our grandchildren in their many sports and other extracurricular activities.

Patricia – Treatment Coordinator and Operations Manager

staff photoI love getting to know each patient and the family, and seeing every person’s transformation. When a patient has finished, and has a confident smile that will last a lifetime, I’m thrilled! I meet with new patients, explain the treatment process, and review their individual treatment plan. I also coordinate treatment with dentists and help manage the operations of Elms Orthodontics. We’re a big family here, with a common goal of making smiles that last a lifetime!

My husband’s name is CJ. I have three children: daughters Kassandra and Elaina and son Carlos. We also have a grandson, Walter. Our family is actively involved in Skybreak Church and travels to Haiti every year. I am also a leader in the Women’s Ministry at SOS (Save Our Streets) and volunteer for various events within the organization.

Carmen – Scheduling Coordinator

staff photoI like building relationships with our patients and their families, and seeing how each patient changes as he or she develops a great smile! I focus on providing exceptional customer service and personal attention. I am often the first point of contact when people call the office. I also welcome patients, schedule appointments, and follow up with patients. This is an extremely positive and supportive office, where we care about each other and our patient family.

I’m married and have three adult sons. My husband Jim teaches at A&M Vet School. We are very involved in church activities: mentoring and leading premarital classes. We’re also involved with community efforts, including Young Life, SHIP, and Habitat for Humanity. I love to hike and travel, enjoy music and reading, and like spending time with our dogs and cat.

Jamie – Lab Technician

staff photoI really like seeing the difference all our teamwork makes in our patients’ lives and smiles. It’s inspiring to see a person’s life transform during treatment, and all the confidence a new smile gives them! I work in our on-site lab: making orthodontic appliances for treatment and the retainers that keep the finished smile perfect. Dr. Elms and the rest of this team are genuine and amazing people. We care about each other and we care about our patients and their families.

I’m married and have two kids and two doggie kids. We are all close and spend a lot of time together. My husband serves in the Navy, so we spent a lot of years moving around the country, missing Texas (home) the whole time. Now that we’re back in Aggieland, we love spending time with family and friends, watching football games, and eating great Texas BBQ. Gig ’em!

Patient Services Coordinators

Sophia – Patient Services Coordinator

staff photoI enjoy meeting all ages of new patients and reconnecting with them at their appointments. We laugh and share stories, and they become part of our family! I provide chairside assistance as Dr. Elms creates great smiles. I also handle inventory and ordering supplies and some lab work, too. At Elms Orthodontics, we all work toward a shared goal of building smiles, confidence, and life-long relationships!

My husband Mark and I have a blended family of five children: Tyler, Jasmine, Christian, Isabella, and Tanner. My family motivates me to be a better wife, mom, and all-around loving person for them. I love to spend quality time with them: watching movies, listening to music, enjoying BBQs, and watching football, baseball, and basketball games. All in all, I just want my family, friends, and everyone to “Have a Great Day,” no matter the situation.

Cathy – Patient Services Coordinator

staff photoI like to see the transformation of a smile, the change in a patient when they see their teeth are straight and healthy, and the joy it brings them. I provide chairside assistance to Dr. Elms during procedures, as well as change wires and take impressions. I also handle all the marketing and assist with Invisalign® cases. Our team and Dr. Elms work well together: encouraging and helping one another as we help our patients.

Outside of work, I love to go to the movies, where I grab a big bag of popcorn and a large Cherry Coke! I have three children: two adult daughters and one son still at home. My son loves to play baseball and football, and enjoys track, too. I’ve been a board member for the Bryan United Little League for many years and have volunteered for SOS Ministries for more than 15 years. They are a faith-based organization that helps at-risk youth. My faith is important to me and I am thankful for the blessings I have been given.

Marie – Patient Services Coordinator

staff photoI love having plenty of one-to-one time with our patients, and getting to know who they are and sharing in their life’s adventures. It’s fascinating to see the changes in a person as their appearance changes and how that affects all parts of their life. I assist Dr. Elms with patient care and oversee our Invisalign® cases. The Elms Orthodontic team is awesome and united in our desire to keep our patients smiling as they develop their best smiles!

My husband David and I have been married for 40 years as of March 2018. We have four children: Derick, Christine, and our twins, Samantha and Philip. We also have a son-in-law, a grandson, and two granddaughters, as well as a cat, Daisy. We moved here in 2000 from the Beaumont area and love living in College Station.

Stephanie – Patient Services Coordinator

staff photoI really like seeing the physical changes our patients experience and how that raises their confidence and self-esteem. I assist Dr. Elms with different orthodontic procedures, work one-to-one with patients, and also handle some lab work. Everyone at Elms Orthodontics has a great personality. We pride ourselves on keeping our patients happy and comfortable during treatment and supporting them as they achieve a beautiful smile!

I have an amazing daughter, Jalyn, who graduated from Texas A&M in the fall of 2017. My son Joshua is in middle school and loves football, basketball, and his video games. My fiancé, Thomas, loves to cook, which is a plus for me! We have three lovable dogs and one crazy cat who loves to cuddle. I enjoy outdoor cookouts and sitting out by the water, listening to music.

Becky – Patient Services Coordinator

staff photoI really enjoy watching each patient transform during orthodontic treatment. It’s rewarding to see their happiness, and I appreciate working at a practice that gives the gift of confident smiles! I greet and seat patients, assist Dr. Elms with procedures, and sterilize instruments. I also take photos, X-rays, and impressions. I love being part of Elms Orthodontics, where we provide the best care — and results — possible!

My husband Matthew and I have been married more than 25 years. Together we have four children — Tori, Matthew, Colton, and Brooke — and one granddaughter, Raylynn. I love time with family, sewing and quilting, and deer hunting.

Crystal – Patient Services Coordinator

staff photoI love helping patients get the smile they want. It’s incredibly rewarding to be a part of helping them build their confidence and change their lives! I offer patient care and assist Dr. Elms. I also drive the Hummer — The Orthomobile! — and entertain the kids while returning them to school. I could not ask for a better doctor and teammates: we all treat each other with respect and enjoy working together to change our patients’ lives.

My husband Michael and I married in 2001. We have three sons: Dakota, Caleb, and Wyatt. I love having boys and find them a blessing. When we’re not busy with sports activities and have a free weekend, we love to camp and spend time on the water. We’re also very involved in our church, especially with the children’s ministry. We love playing with the kids and teaching them about Jesus.

Financial and Insurance Coordinators

Lori – Financial Coordinator

staff photoI enjoy working with our patients, assisting to create beautiful smiles, and helping parents with financials. I wear two hats at Elms Orthodontics. In the clinic, I assist Dr. Elms in treating our patients. In the front office, I work with patients and families to find the best financial solution to make treatment affordable, based on their budget and their treatment plan. Ours is a positive and friendly office: full of smiles from Dr. Elms, the team, and our patients!

My husband Miles and I have been married for more than 20 years. We have three sons: Nathan, Ian, and Hudson. We also have a dog, Bear, and a cat, Horatio. Outside of work, I love to run, because it’s good for the mind, body, and soul, and I love to hike, play and watch soccer, read, and ski, too.

Perry – Insurance Coordinator

staff photoI really appreciate working for Elms Orthodontics. The enthusiasm of Dr. Elms and all our staff to create a beautiful smile for every patient is inspiring. I handle insurance matters for the practice: verify benefits, interact with the insurance providers, and ensure our patients are able to maximize their coverage. It’s fulfilling to work in such a positive and fun atmosphere, where everyone is always smiling.

I retired from the US Air Force after 26 years of service. This makes me the old person in our office! I recently celebrated 50 years of marriage with my fantastic wife. Life is complete with church and the joy of two daughters and sons-in-law who live close by, which enables me to love on my grandchildren.
